🧩 The Role
We’re looking for a highly motivated Junior Product Designer to craft end-to-end digital experiences that balance user needs with business goals. You will be a hands-on individual contributor, working closely with the engineers and the Product team to deliver intuitive UI and flows while learning the domain and deepening your design craft.

🚀 Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality UI and user flows for well-scoped features with minimal rework.
Apply and evolve Qatium’s design system to ensure consistency and scalability.
Collaborate with engineers and the Product team in agile squads from discovery through delivery.
Analyze user feedback and integrate insights into your designs.
Communicate design rationale clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Learn the fundamentals of water utilities and data visualization design.
Contribute to a culture of collaboration, feedback, and user-centricity.
Grow autonomy — progressing from support tasks to end-to-end ownership by month 12
💡What We're Looking For
Experience: 1–2 years of experience as a Product Designer in a tech product environment (startup or scale-up preferred).
Portfolio: A strong UI portfolio showcasing clear hierarchy, structure, and interaction design fundamentals.
Research: Basic understanding of user research and usability testing.
Tools: Proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, prototyping) or equivalent tools. Familiarity with component-based design systems.
Skills: Excellent communication skills. Fluent in English (written and spoken), Spanish is a plus.
Location: Based in Spain.
Mindset: Growth mindset, openness to feedback, and adaptability to change.
Bonus: Experience designing data visualizations (maps, graphs) and knowledge of accessibility standards is a plus.
